Here's a tid-bit of information I thought you would like. Check it out below!

It's a known fact is what it is! Heres some info from Scholastics Canada.

https://www.scholastic.ca/readingreport/the-state-of-kids-and-reading.php

Heres a list of what you can read about on the Scholastics website.

2. What Canadian kids and parents want in books

3. Reading aloud

4. Reading in Canadian schools

5. Summer Reading

** You will get information on learning percentages on children readers versus nonreaders.

** Why you should let your children read anything from books they like, to computer games in a limited amount of time, and even newspapers, reading books for fun, how books can inspire children to be who they can be in the world, and spark their imaginations.

** Why it is important to not only read to your children, but to let them read to you.

** Why its important that you let your children pick the books they want to read.

** Age range of each reader, and the importance of challenging them.

And so much more!

Did you know? According to a recent survey by the Canadian Psychological Association, school-aged children are struggling with understanding their emotions like never before. Symptoms of stress, frustration, and lack of coping skills in kids are going largely unnoticed by parents.

*** 1 in 3 children experience headaches due to the inability to cope with their feelings

*** 44% of children report sleeping difficulties because of worry

*** Only 13% of parents picked up on these challenges.

Spread the word and help children learn to read, and end illiteracy today...
